Privatizing education is just as bad as privatizing Health Care. It says that if you can't afford quality health care or quality education then you don't deserve it. Education is one of those things that everyone should have equal access to and if you don't make the best of it, then that is on you. But not giving everyone a level playing field in which to start is criminal. It's setting them up for failure. It's true that it's not just about race, it's about keeping the poor - black and white - economically disadvantaged and politically weak. God don't like it. Just read the Book of Amos if you don't know what God thinks about exploiting the poor and down-trodden. Also don't forget that God won't let our society get away with it.
