  1. This has always struck me as an odd hill to die upon. With no-fault divorce, domestic abuse and adultery, the only reason I can think that right-wing christians would choose this hill to die on would be inherent homophobia.

  2. no-fault divorce, domestic abuse and adultery are wrong and God will judge that just as much. It's not better or worse than same-sex marriage. Plenty of judgement to go around. No need water-down marriage even more!!!

I'll believe you actually mean this when I see an equal number of posts against no-fault divorce as there are against gay marriage...

  4. Um..I've written against adultery and divorce throughout this blog. And we all know that it's wrong. Even you do. I did not think I had to point it out. That is why you feign indignation that I point out the evil of same-sex marriage and falsely insinuate that I inconsistently allow for divorce and adultery. Nope all three are sin and evil. No more evil than another.

  5. But then I might be giving you too much credit.

  6. Um..I've written against adultery and divorce throughout this blog.

Well, according to your ridiculously granular tags, you've written on

    Adultery (5)
    Divorce (2)
    Fidelity (1)
    Homosexuality (30)
    Marriage (45)
    Marriage and Domestic Partnership (3)

Of the posts tagged with "marriage", about half were directly about gay marriage, and none appeared to focus on divorce or adultery, the rest either were either posts criticizing modern Muslim marriage practices or posts defending ancient Hebrew marriage practices, with the occasional sex advice by Mark Driscoll thrown in.

So that puts us at about 55 posts about homosexuality and around 8 posts about divorce and adultery (combined).

Like I said, I'll believe you are not motivated by simple homophobia when I see an equal number of posts against no-fault divorce as there are against gay marriage...

    1. Yup, I gave you too much credkt in that I assumed you capable of a little rationalify. How does a equal nunber of posts against divorce and adultery as homosexuality change anything? Having to tell someine that divorce and aduktery are bad for you is like having to tell you not to stand under a tree when it falls. I thought you were smarter than that.

  8. Not always easy typing really fast on an Android phone. Given that name-calling is all you have rather than good arguments against the video or my blog, I'll let it slide. Really sad and not rational at all. Jesus could help you with that.

  9. Given that name-calling is all you have rather than good arguments

Name calling is entertaining. Good arguments are above. Explain your almost exclusive focus on homosexuality as a "sin" is not driven by homophobia?

Are you on the down low?

  10. I haven't exclusively concluded that homosexuality is a sin. I've said multiple times that adultery and divorce are just as dangerous and damaging. Therefore just like the rest of your "arguments", this one is stupid. Homosexuality, adultery, and divorce are just as evil and as much a sin. One is not better or worse than the other. I thought that I didn't have to state how bad adultery and divorce are but I underestimated you.

  11. Marcus; your tags don't lie... You (and some sects of christianity in general) are obsessed with homosexuality. I was just curious why.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Sure... OK. So why are you obsessed with homosexuality?

    ReplyDelete
  13. You have yet to prove that I am obsessed with homosexuality or that I consider it worse than adultery or divorce. All I've ever argued is that changing the definition of marriage is not going to fix the problems with society and divorce and adultery are just as big in assisting in the degradation of society and you can add abortion to that also.

The tags and content speak for themselves.

  15. And that doesn't honestly lead to any such conclusion for homophobia and that I don't talk about divorce or adultery in equal measure. The tags don't talk about content. And I remember a long protracted discussion with you about how marriage has been defined among various cultures. You stupidly argued that adultery is not recognized universally as wrong. Did you include that discussion. I don't think so and if you do then you are even dumber than I thought.

  16. And that doesn't honestly lead to any such conclusion for homophobia and that I don't talk about divorce or adultery in equal measure.

Homophobia, maybe not. Obsessed with homosexuality, very possibly. As for equal measure, it's as objective evidence that you do not as one could get.

You stupidly argued that adultery is not recognized universally as wrong. Did you include that discussion.

    Sorry, revised numbers...

  17. Your conclusions still don't follow. 55 posts out of 4,126 total posts?!!! Yup, your not really honest or rational.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Let's not forget that is 55 posts about homosexuality out of 4126 posts over 4 years! Tell me, do you get fevers and twitches with your delusions or are they just visionary?

  19. Well, you have 29 about the android phone, and we all know you just post links without reviewing the content, so I wouldn't pat yourself on the back or anything.

Also, this cracked me up, you actually have separate tags for typos...
