Cheaper than Solar: Gravity-Powered Lights for the Developing World | Technology on GOOD
Wow. Electric Lights powered by Gravity?!!! I wonder why can't it be used all over the world? But of course it should be used in places where conventional technology is not practical, but I can't think of a place on earth that this would not work. I'm going to research this more to see if its true, but I sure hope it is. Maybe this tech can even be used to power other devices.
