Porn & Free Will @The Provisionist Perspective

I just can't agree with Leighton Flower's idea that human inability to be sinless means that we are not responsible for our sins but makes God responsible. This is why he says he rejects Calvinism. The problem is that scripture does not teach that God pre-ordains our sins. Dr Flowers is right about that but I do not think that Calvinists like James White and John McArthur are saying or implying what Flowers says they are.

God clearly does not ordain our sins or causes us to sin or pushes us to do or be evil.

13 When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; 14 but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. 15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.
-  James 1: 13-15

However God does ordain our good and righteous deeds. You cannot prepare something without also ordaining it as well.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. - Ephesians 2: 8 - 10

We can argue and debate about the origin of evil, but one thing that is completely beyond question: God is not the source of our evil or our sins.

China Anne Mcclain Explains How There Is More Than One God

I do not think that China Anne McClain love the Lord and attempting to follow God to the best she can. However she is wrong about the Trinity doctrine. Here her video she posted explaining how she sees the Trinity. It is A hodgepodge of several heresies and cultic conclusions. I do not think that she is doing it on purpose. Here is a great response video explain where she is going wrong. A lot of what she is saying is said in Modalism, Unitarianism, Mormonism, Islam, and other problem groups. And here is another: Bottom line. Scripture says the Father is God, The Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God.

Superman Calls Out WOKE Captain America

People have lost their minds over Marvel's "United States of Captain America" #1. The complaint is that its too "woke". People are weighing in without really looking at the comic itself.  An article that explains what the offending text is and how people have responded can be found in

The problem text is:

Fox, naturally, latched on to the lines "The first American dream is the one that isn't real" and "A good dream is shared. Shared radically. Shared with everyone. When something isn't shared, it can become the American lie" and then brought on guests to react to Marvel saying that the American Dream is "dead" and "a lie."

I really see nothing wrong with Captain America saying this. It's true. The so-called "American Dream" has been horded by some, excluded others, and built off the backs of many. However the comic has triggered some people. They argue that Captain America has become way patriotic and and antigovernmental. Any one who argues this knows nothing about who Captain America is and what does it symbolizes. He has always stood for the ideal version of the United States. You know the version of what we say we stand for and not what we do really do. That America welcomes immigrants, protects the weak, promises freedom to become the best version of yourself. It is about opportunity. Instead what we have is a history of chauvinism, genocide, greed, slavery, and racism. Captain America inspires people to be better - and never shy away from politics.

Captain America's first appearance depicts the character punching Hitler in the face  (always a joy) in 1941 before America had even entered WWII.

And a story was published in 2003 called "Truth: Red, White, and Black" in which we find out America experimented on Black soldiers to try to re-create the super soldier serum that created Captain America in the first place. When Captain America found out what had happened in present day, he fought to help the lone survivor. This story was some of the inspiration for "Marvel's The Falcon and the Winter Soldier" series on Disney+.
There was another story they published in 2009 called "Flag of Our Fathers" where Captain America
teamed up the Black Panther of WWII to stop Nazis and in it Captain America refuses to accept the racism and segregation of  that time.  And trust me, there are plenty of times where Captain America chooses to do the right thing despite what the United States government says

Outlets like PragerU do not seem to know what the comic is about but only want to attack "wokeness".

Some outlets like the above article and the Young Turks (TYT) actually have accurate and well thought-out commentary:

Parler Vs the World

In the beggining 2021, David Wood began a series of posts tracing how Facebook, Google, Amazon, and Twitter crushed the platform Parler as a rival platform to Twitter on the pretext that Parler allowed itself to be used as a platform for hate speech and to organice the attack on the US Capitol on January 6, 2021.
