Child-Brides Are Not Okay

A lot of people want to point out that such practices are not indicative of Islam. I totally believe that the majority of Muslims we would meet face-to-face in our day-to-day lives would be completely as appalled was we are in the West at the idea of grown men marrying children. Further some would call holding the Muslim world accountable for child-brides is hypocritical due to the raping and molestation that we know is happening in some Christian churches all over the planet. My perspective is that having sex with a child is evil and wrong no matter what you say you believe. Just wrong. It is not my opinion, it is objectively wrong no matter who is doing it. The difference is that I think a careful reading of the Quran and Prophet Muhammad's life substantiates this practice from their point-of-view and there is no way you can justify such things from Christian scriptures.
