'V for Vendetta' Writer Alan Moore Comes Face-to-Guy-Fawkes-Face with Occupy Protestors [Video] - ComicsAlliance | Comic book culture, news, humor, commentary, and reviews
You may or may not be aware of the influence Alan Moore's work has had on the Occupy Movement. He recently had the chance to talk to some of the protesters.
Let this be a lesson to those who do not realize that there are real worldviews which people who write fiction are putting forth through their work be it books, movies, TV shows, etc.:
“‘It feels like a character I created 30 years ago has somehow escaped the realm of fiction.’ ALAN MOORE, graphic novelist, on Occupy Wall Street protesters’ wearing the Guy Fawkes mask he popularized in V for Vendetta; Moore added that while writing in, he secretly hoped the ideas in the story would “actually make an impact.”
