I really enjoyed this interview of David F. Wells on Iron Sharpens Iron. The subject is very important. Too often Christians have struggled to remain relevant by compromising on what scripture actually says. This is the fastest way to become irrelevant. This is what Well's book is about.
David F. Wells, Ph.D., the Andrew Mutch Distinguished Professor of Historical and Systematic Theology at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, will address the theme of his book: "The Courage to be Protestant: Truth-lovers, Marketers, and Emergents in the Postmodern World".

Arguing Doesn’t Do Any Good? Sure It Does! | Clay Jones
Brian Auten turned me onto an interesting essay by Clay Jones in which he answers the objection against apologetics that says that Christians should not argue. He does a great job in explaining how Apologetics is an important part of witnessing and following after the commands the Bible gives us. My favorite part of the essay is quoted below:
Of course, what’s at stake here is significant. Would the devil like anything more than when someone challenged the truth of historic Christianity, we just sat silent while quoting to ourselves the maxim “people shouldn’t argue”?Arguing Doesn’t Do Any Good? Sure It Does! | Clay Jones
1 Pet. 3:15: “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.”

THE APOLOGETIC FRONT: Atheistic fairy tales...
I really like Mike Felker's contribution to the debate regarding the latest attempt to circumvent the need of an intelligent designer to explain why the universe exists. He posted the following video.

Apologetics 315: Terminology Tuesday: Argument from Prophecy
This week Brian Auten defined "Argument from Prophecy". I tend to favor it especially when it comes to Jesus being the Messiah. All the messianic prophecies of the Old Testament were all written well in advance of Jesus' birth. Therefore it really makes no sense to argue that they were written after Jesus lived.

History of the Bible: How The Bible Came To Us
Here is a great article about by Paul Ringer in which he summarizes what is known about how the Bible is written and how it was transmitted down to us through the centuries to English. For further studying and information, I can't recommend The King James Only Controversy by James White highly enough. If you like material like this, you will love his book.
