Here is an interesting video I found out from John W. Loftus blog. Philosopher John Shook gives a lecture about the psychological underpinnings of why some people are religious. Take a look at his arguments. He makes the assumption that atheism is correct and then in that frame of mind tries to explain religion.




In the interest of being fair, why not listen to a presentation by a real psychologist, Paul Vitz, on where atheism comes from.
