Moral Relativism? /  Messenger Puppet

I found the graphic above without much explanation.  It's obviously that the point being made is that in the Bible God is credited with killing more people than the number of people who the Bible says were killed by Satan. Fine I agree. The graph does not explain how the final tally was arrived, but let's grant that it's true. My response is "So!!!" God can literally do whatever He pleases and any time anywhere. There isn't a single human being who doesn't deserve death. The fact that we live at all is because God's grace and mercy which He is not obligated to give to us.

  1. I would assume that they offered an absolute standard as to why “killing” is immoral and why it was thus, immoral for God to kill—or, is this merely another emotive argument from outrage and argument to ridicule.
Also, according to the graph; God cannot even hope to compete with the body count of the atheists who produced the most secular and bloodiest century in human history. I mean, Stalin alone comes in at what, 20,000,000?!?!

It may be fun for you to come up with a chart of God’s “killing” versus the various atheist’s.

  2. I agree...the number of deaths from atheism would be hard to put on the same axis. Definitely a "another emotive argument from outrage and argument to ridicule."

  3. Nope. I just stumbled across it and thought it was ironic.
