Here is a video of real psychologists discussing whether or not characters like Batman are insane. They also discuss supervillians. Looking at such questions are real interesting and help in understanding psychology in such "case studies".

    Usually, one is advised to see a psychologist, especially when they are having criminal tendencies, and the psychologist will tell you if you need to see a psychiatrist. Sometimes only therapy is good enough but, if your psychologist feels more is needed like medicine, then he/she will refer you to a psychiatrist.
