I just heard that Richard Dawkins feels like he was discriminated against on the basis of religion in Michigan because a Country Club where he was supposed to be doing a book signing,Magic of Reality, canceled the event because he is an atheist. Wait: Can an atheist can cry "religious intolerance" if atheism is not a religion? Uhhhhh....shelving that for a moment, take a look at a news report on the fiasco at the following link.

Here is the interview of Dawkins by Bill O'Reilly which Dawkins clearly blames for his being rejected by the Country Club.


Unfortunately, Bill O'Reilly attitude and rhetoric makes Dawkins seem sympathetic because O'Reilly is so undesirable and even wrong about a great deal of things. Although I think Dr Dawkins' worldview is wrong, it's just as wrong to cancel his book signing no matter how stupid some of his ideas are of he indeed have a contract. There has been good new and bad news regarding the arrest of Nabeel Qureshi, Paul Rezkalla, Negeen Mayel, and David Wood last July for witnessing to Muslims and video taping it in Dearborn, MI. They all have aquitted except Nageen. Nageen is young woman who may be small in statue but she is big in courage. She was man-handled and inappropriate comments about how body while she was under arrest - yet she was found guilty of “Failure to Obey a Police Officer’s Direction or Order.” I think that they had to make one of them take the fall for something and picked her because of her race and gender and religion. I sure hope they don't get away with this!

Christians Taken Away in Handcuffs, Cameras Confiscated, While Muslims Chant "Allahu Akhbar!" on US Soil

I just could not believe this story. A group of Christians arrested merely being at a Muslim Festival in Michigan. I'm amazed. If I understand the story correctly, " David Wood, Nabeel Qureshi (Acts 17 Apologetics Ministry) and two other Christians were arrested and taken away in handcuffs by the Dearborn, MI police." Their crime seems to be being Christian in an Muslim Zone. They weren't being destructive or disruptive. They were not not trying to offend anyone and only spoke to people who wanted to talk to them. People carry video recorders and microphones to such events. I see nothing wrong with documenting what they were doing...especially in light of what ended up happening.
