The Famous "Read My Book" Debate on Calvinism: Now on MP3!

I was excited to hear that the Calvinism debate on the Bible Answer Man from Nineties between James White and George Bryson is now available on mp3. I've heard the debate...I even own it on CD, but on mp3 it will be even easier for those who have not heard it to listen in. If you have not heard it I highly recommend it!
Here is a video clip from one of their encounters

Apologetics 315: Matthew Flannagan vs. Raymond Bradley Debate: Is God the Source of Morality? MP3 Audio

This was a great  debate on God and morality. Bradly say Gods isn't the source of morality and Flannagan says God is the source of reality. I was hoping that Bradley would make a new argument, but he didn't. However Flannagan does advance a theory that is new to me relatively speaking. He was interviewed by Brian Auten earlier this week and it came up again. The argument was that there was no "genocide" in Canaan because Bible does not say that Israel killed everyone - even children - and instead follows the history literature in Ancient tradition of hyperbole. The equivalent of chanting "We won! You lost!! You ate the applesauce!!!" I'm not certain that I buy the argument but I want to read his work to try to understand more about his argument. I think it is an interesting point and I want to know more. Thankfully Brian Auten did post a link to Flannagan's blog post on his arguments about the Canaanites in his interview with Flannagan.  I was also distressed about Biblical inerrancy was not really addressed. Bradley kept hammering with it and it wasn't really answered. This is where I believe a Presuppositional approach would have been handy.with that you can argue that the Bible is true and you have good reason to accept it. Bradly is correct that the Bible is where this rises or falls.

Apologetics 315: Why Won't God Heal Amputees? MP3 Audio from GotQuestions.org

I appreciate Brain Auten for posting this awesome audio refuting one of the  arguments against God's existence that keeps getting trotted out.  If there is a God and prayer works then why doesn't God heal amputees? This audio answers the question by giving seven erroneous presuppositions on which the argument is based and why they don't make sense.  Brian posts a link to the audio and to the text answer.

Resurrection Debate: Gary Habermas & Mike Licona vs Robert Price

Here is a great discussion for Easter. The Infidel Guy & Robert M Price vs  Gary Habermas and Mike Licona. It was fun seeing Price being challenged. Habermas does a marvelous job showing how many Price makes some horrible assumptions that makes it hard for him to understand what Christians are saying. Price is definitely on the fringe. Even most skeptical scholars accepts the Paul really wrote some of the stuff that we attribute to him and Price says Paul wrote none of them. Another thing that got me was he said that in Greek "Phileo" and "Agape" from John 21 are synonyms!!! I admit that I don't read Greek, but I have never heard anyone not make a difference between what those words really mean. It was really interesting.

Apologetics 315: A Case for Apologetics MP3 Audio by Brian Auten

I've been following Brian Auten's work on his Apologetics 315 blog. I have enjoyed and benefited from the powerful and useful resources he has provided and pointed out.  I've found his comments and thoughts very insightful. When I found out that he was making his own podcasts I got real excited because I knew that this was going to be special. And I believe that this is the first one, posted just a few days ago, shows that my hopes most certainly were not misplaced.  He does an awesome job explaining what Apologetics is and why it is important. I really enjoyed it.  I look forward to more!

Apologetics 315: How Do We Know Christianity Is Right? MP3 Audio by J.P. Moreland

Here is a great resource form Apologetics 315. It's a lecture by philosopher J.P. Moreland in which he explains why he know Christianity is true. I like this and agree with his points. They are some of the same points that convinces and convicts me.
