Viddler.com - Don Draper Presents Facebook Timeline - Uploaded by eleist
Image via CrunchBaseThis is one of the slickest marketing videos I have ever seen. It's a scene from the Television show Mad Men about advertiser executives in the 1960s and one of the characters makes an impassioned speech on behalf of his product and profession. The scenes are replaced with video of Facebook's new Timeline feature. It's amazing. I admit I like Timeline having tried it out early. People, Facebook is not dead yet.
And here is a more official video explaining the service

Image via WikipediaWhat if Frankin Delano Roosevelt, Theodore Roosevelt, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, and Andrew Jackson were cast in this summer's biggest movies? Wheelchair user Franklin Delano Roosevelt gets reinvented as a Transformers hero in a poster series by Jason Heuser that explores... alternative views of famous American presidents that appear strongly influenced by the absurdly bombastic style of filmmaker Michael Bay. Check out George Washington vs. Zombies, Teddy Roosevelt vs. Bigfoot, Thomas Jefferson vs. Gorillas, Andrew Jackson Alien Slayer and Grizzly Tamer Abe Lincoln below. Each poster is available via Heuser for $25.

Who Watches the Watchponies? - Topless Robot
Rob's Journal. May 10th, 2011: Dog carcass in alley this morning, tire tread on burst stomach. This internet is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The information superhighways are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the online vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the camwhores and trolls will look up and shout "STOP RUNNING THEGODDAMNMY LITTLE PONY VIDEOS!"
... and I'll whisper "no." (Infinite thanks to Henri for the tip)
