The Urban Perspective - Dr. Vince Bantu - Mis-Reformed, the imperialism ...
Yes! This is something that I've been wanting to see a discussion on. It's about how the Reformation has changed over time and the relationship of Christian Europe and Christian Africa. I loved how Dr Bantu pointed out that both parts of Christianity talked past one another on things like the Deity of Christ. It is a problem because they did not understand each other when arguing about how many natures Jesus Christ has. I am amazed. I did not know that. This is a great interview.

Iron Sharpens Iron: JAMES SWAN: "WAS MARTIN LUTHER AN ANTI-SEMITE?"
Here is an oldie but a goodie! James Swan was interviewed on Iron Sharpens Iron regarding the charge that Martin Luther was insenstive and wrote against Jews. IT was handled well. I highly recommend listening to this interview.

Minneapolis Interview Posted - Reformation Issues
James White was interviewed on sola gratia and other Reformed themes recently. I love to hear Dr. White teach on these matters. I've always been taught that we are saved sola gratia (by Grace alone in English). Definitely worth listening to. Follow the link to James White's blog to get the link to the podcast.

Beggars All: Reformation And Apologetics: Doctrinal causes of the Reformation
Here is a great article about the doctrinal causes of the Reformation. There were good reasons. Martin Luther and the other reformers didn't just wake up one day and decided they didn't want to be Roman Catholic anymore...they had good reason to do what they did.

Why Many Modern American Evangelicals Don't Like Reformed Baptist Preaching
James White has posted a couple of videos on his blog that answer a question I've been having: Given that when I look at the scriptures I see that membership in the elect is up to God not to us - He chooses us, why do most evangelicals think that we are saved by exercising our free will? I mean both concepts can't be right. However as long a person believes and trusts Jesus for salvation, he/she is saved, does it really matter who started it? God or us? I think it does matter because the Bible is clear. "We love Him because He first loved us." (1 John 4:19) All we do is respond, but we can't respond on our own.

Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. - John 14:6

When James White spoke at the Discern 2009 conference, one of his lectures - the one on the Reformation - has been posted on YouTube. I really enjoyed it. I wish I could have been there in person.
