The Science of Iron Man 2 Liveblog

I would really like to go this! However, I won't be able to go. Fortunately, Marvel will live blog the event and hopefully we can get a hold of a video!
This Wednesday, October 13, at 8:00pm PST, the Science & Entertainment Exchange and the California Institute of Technology will present a special panel discussion, "The Science of 'Iron Man 2,'" that will look at the real-world technology behind Tony Stark's greatest invention.
The panel will bring together some of the film's creators with experts in the fields of computer science and theoretical particle physics, and Marvel.com will be there live to bring you coverage of the event as it happens!
So bookmark this page and come back Wednesday, October 13 at 8:00pm PST to follow along, and check out the full list of scheduled panelists right here.

Secrets of Iron Man’s New Suits | Underwire | Wired.com

How did they switch from practical effects to computer generated ones. This article answers many of these.
