Mariano has posted a great article about Pastafarians. These are poor misguided people who believe that there really is a flying spaghetti monster (thank you, Richard Dawkins). Well, if people can worship a head of lettuce or a pole stuck in the ground, they can worship anything, including a flying spaghetti monster and yet still claim to be a part of atheism. Mariano does a great job in describing how utterly ridiculous it is to allow it to be reflected in Austrian drivers licenses. Read Mariano's article at the following link.

These are poor misguided people who believe that there really is a flying spaghetti monster...
ReplyDeleteIt's a joke you dolt.
You're a joke. They are actually issuing driver licenses in Austria in which they are changing the rules in what you can wear to accommodate their religious sensibilities. I'm waiting for the apologies given you didn't read what Mariano wrote. Please. Get help. They are going awfully far for a joke.
ReplyDeleteDo you honestly believe Niko is an adherent of the FSM? His blog indicates it a joke, critiquing the Austrian law for accommodating religious head-wear.
ReplyDeleteFrom an AP interview, Niko Alm: "The Republic of Austria is still very closely attached, is trying to serve religion and churches without any apparent need, and that's just another thing I pointed out... that something is going wrong here that there is a part of the population that can exert certain special rights that people like me, that atheist people or non-believers cannot have."
He has to pretend to be religious to wear a hat in a DL photo.
Also Marino doesn't know his head from his, well, you know.
