Gretchen Felker-Martin Fired From DC Comic For Her Comment on Charlie Kirk

Question: I get why DC would fire Ms Felker-Martin for her comments on celebrating Charlie Kirk's Assassination because it was a terrible thing to say, but why would they cancel the book instead of just hiring a new writer?!

Why Muhammad invited the Men of Al-Zutt to "ride" Him

R.C. Sproul Jr's Kerfluffle

Recently, R.C. Sproul Jr posted an article on his website where he tried to give a calvinistic response to push back against the idea that God is sovereignty. He says that a young girl who was raped and murdered deserved what happened to her because all of us are sinful and deserve hell. While I do agree in the underlying guilt of all human beings, I do not agree that the guilt and blame for the evil things that people do are God's fault. People who are raped and murdered are not responsible for the suffering and evil they endured, it is the fault of the perpetrator.  He has gotten a lot of backlash from Christians and non-Christians. For example, here is the an image of such criticism.

I think the backlash is too far to call the Sproul's blasphemer although I do not think blaming victims as the cause of their suffering is correct. Here is a link to the article, Are There, Ultimately, Tragedies? or What Were You Thinking?

Here is an X post that responds to the Sproul's apology post. She is definitely Anti-Calvinism. I will write my own answer to the problem of a evil example of a raped and murdered child. Is there a Biblical answer? Yes.  One that respects and address the theological and emotional issues. But for now here is one response from someone I do not fully agree with.
